Faction Wars

Well, after playing a fair bit of Clear Sky, it is indeed a much improved version of Shadows of Chernobyl. I'm particularly liking the faction wars part, where you take control of a base for a particular faction. It works really well as you often get people crying for help or aiding you in taking a base.

The only down side I see at the moment is, because Clear Sky are the figureheads of this game, there is no way to be a "Renegade" and help out the bandits.

However, I haven't played far so I couldn't really give an opinion. Anyway, the X-Ray engine has had an overhaul with DX10 support, which looks fucking awesome:






Yeah, so it looks fucking grand. Anyway, I may edit this post later / tomorrow, but for now you can just bask in the awesome looking atmosphere... Also, 50+ FPS.
